DWR

Durable water repellent, or DWR, is a coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water-resistant (or hydrophobic). Most factory-applied treatments are fluoropolymer based. The DWR water-repellent treatment gives long product performances. The products that use this technology are:

PROTECTION DRY 2 ½ L

2.5-layer rip-stop nylon fabric, laminated with air-resistant polyurethane membrane (10,000 mm Water Column) and breathable (10,000 g / sqm / 24h). The high density of the fibers guarantees high mechanical performances and resistance to wear.

Lightweight nylon fabric rip-stop, treated with microporous coating waterproof to air, water (600 mm Water Column) and breathable (5,000 g / sqm / 24h). PROTECTION SHELL ICE

Softshell in Polyester, windbreaker and breathable. Mechanical stretch. Very resistant to wear and easy to clean. Coupled with a poly-glazed polyester with water-resistant polyurethane membrane lamination (8,000 mm water column), breathable (5,000 g / sqm / 24h) and windproof. PROTECTION TECHNO STRETCH ICE

4-way stretch polyamide fabric of 260 gr / mq. Ensures high resistance to tearing and abrasion. Thanks to the structure with double weft texture, it avoids contact with the skin, increasing its comfort and breathability, offering good protection from the wind. The DWR water repellent treatment protects it from external moisture. The fabric does not absorb water and dries quickly. The products that use this technology are:

PROTECTION BI-STRETCH

Fabric in polyamide 4 way-stretch from 180 g / sqm, characterized by high wear resistance and DWR water repellent treatment. With a medium and compact weight, pleasant and fresh to the touch, it gives high mechanical strength. PROTECTION STRETCH LIGHT BAMBOO

135 g / m² stretch polyamide fabric, characterized by high resistance to wear and wicking treatment. Light and compact, pleasant and fresh to the touch, it gives high mechanical strength. Dries quickly, even after multiple washes. Composed of 41% of a special fiber obtained from a particular species of bamboo, with a growth of more than 5 years, subjected to a treatment with heat (in an oven with temperatures above 800 °). From here comes the active carbon that is the basis of high quality treatments. PRIMALOFT DOWN GOLD BLEND

It is the latest patented by Primaloft® composed of ultra-thin fibers and water-repellent feathers that offer high performance in terms of warmth and comfort. It is a hybrid, that is a mix of PrimaLoft polyester microfibers (30%) and 90/10 feather of first quality (70%) totally water-repellent, durable and fluorocarbon-free. PrimaLoft DownBlend maintains its performance in wet conditions. The water repellent technology guarantees the warmth of the down, thermal efficiency and heat / weight ratio comparable to natural down, dries faster than natural down.
